It’s been a busy couple of scrapping weekends for me lately!
Two weekends ago I travelled to Kilmore to an all day scrap with my Mum and sister-in-law, Tegan, at Make A Page Scrapbooking. I went along without any particular projects in mind, and despite forgetting a whole pile of photos I wanted to scrap, I managed to get about 10 layouts done (some singles, some doubles).
Me & Occy
A photo of me from when I was little with my auntie’s cat, Oscar, who was affectionately known as Occy.
Materials: My Minds Eye paper, thickers, KaiserCraft stickers
Some of the beautiful butterflies from the Butterfly Garden at Singapore airport.
Materials: My Minds Eye paper, KaiserCraft flowers and rub-on, Prima butterfly
Some photos from atop an elephant in Thailand.
Materials: My Minds Eye Paper, KaiserCraft flowers, Thickers.
Then this weekend Mum, Tegan and I all travelled up to HobbySew in Echuca for an Artsy Adventure with Trisha Green-Ladouceur. It was a very full on day with two classes – we worked like mad things getting the basis of our two projects done, but there’s still lots of homework to be done! It was great fun though and I certainly learned a lot, which is always the most important thing – I have a new found love of Distress Stains and am very excited to try transferring more images onto canvas!
I’ve put in the sneak peeks below, for more, see Trisha’s blog.
