Wedding photos

I’ve already finished my wedding albums and, as sick as  Iwas of scrapping our wedding by the time they were done, it was nice to grab a couple of photos during a recent crop at Make A Page Scrapbooking and see what I could do with them.

Materials: Kaisercraft paper, Bazzill, chipboard word, bling (wish I could remember the brand), Collections Elements fabric

This was a challenge page where we had to have at least two photos, bling and chipboard and complete the page in two hours – the speed wasn’t a problem for me, I always scrap quickly, but getting all the elements on the page did pose somewhat of a challenge. I had all my elements in front of me but I couldn’t seem to get them to work together – I stared at my desk blankly for about 45 minutes before I actually made a start and, once I did, it came together really fast.

My favourite elements on the page are the fabric photo mat and the bling border on the photo. It’s the most amazing bling, it’s not just clear, when the light hits it, it reflects all different colours. Now if only I could remember the brand so I could get my paws on some more!!

Mum & Dad’s Wedding

Materials: Bazzill, KaiserCraft paper, elements, bling and flowers, canvas scalloped border, Collections Elements fabric, Prima flowers

Mum and Dad celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary a couple of days ago and I just love this photo from their wedding day.

This was another challenge where we had to create a layout based on layouts done by the Make A Page team. As you can probably tell, I’m going through a real phase of using fabric on my layouts, I love the extra texture it provides – I especially love with this one the fabric peeking out from the torn edges of the page.
