Just a quick post today – I’ve got this week off work and I’m making the most of it by doing as much scrapping as I can (in between shopping, eating and sampling new wines!).
I’ve been sitting on these layouts for a while – not for any particular reason, really just because I’ve been too lazy to post them!
Materials: Teresa Collins Papers, German scrap, Thickers, doily, flowers
This was a sketch challenge from Chandon Craft. I love these Teresa Collins papers, they are so bright and the patterns gorgeous.
Materials: Bazzill, KaiserCraft paper and collectables
I had a lot of fun doing this page – it’s hard to see from the photos, but the background is actually woven strips of paper. I cut inch and a half (roughly) wide strips of four of the different papers and then wove them into a background. It was harder than it looks and took a couple of tries but I’m really happy with the result. Then to cover up the rough edges, I cut out a black border in Bazzill and put it over the top as a frame. I added a photo of me in Rome (I want to go back!!!) and some collectables to finish off. This is one of my favourite layouts I’ve done for ages.
