Merry Christmas! Now that all the festivities are done for another year (but the leftovers live on!) it’s time for a good dose of scrapping!
Santa (or was it Mum?) was kind enough to give me some papers for Christmas which was lucky because I forgot to pack my scrapbooking stuff! I was so worried about forgetting the presents, the wine, the Christmas cake and all the other goodies that I completely forgot my carefully packed scrapbooking bag!
Nevertheless, visiting Mum and Dad is almost like visiting a scrapbooking shop and Mum is letting me sponge off her for the next few days.
Materials: Kaisercraft papers and collectables, Dimensional Magic and some Tim Holtz clear crackle paint
This layout is better than the photo looks – it’s quite hard paper to photograph this one because it looks a bit wishy-washy but in real life it’s a bit more vibrant. I used Dimensional Magic and some Tim Holtz clear crackle paint on the collectables to give them a bit more depth. I love the effect of the Dimensional Magic on the word strips, it makes them look like they were bubble stickers!
Materials: Kaisercraft paper, transperancy and collectables, textas
This is a really cute effect with the transparency designed to go over the paper. I had all but finished this layout but I thought it was missing something so I coloured in the trees and hammock with textas. Being Copic deprived (I suspect if I got into Copics we might go bankrupt – one expensive hobby is enough!) I used normal textas and coloured roughly underneath the transparency and I am really happy with how it looks.
