Scrapping room renovations

Well, technically it’s the spare room but I multipurpose it as my scrapping space. I’ve taken a couple of extra days break from work and in supposed to be relaxing… I was never very good at that though!

Instead I have painted the wardrobe, carpeted it and installed some shelves so I can make better use of the space I have – it’s hard sharing a fairly small room with a double bed!

Anyway, I’m pretty happy with the result, I’ve managed to fit all my scrapping stuff in the wardrobe, hopefully leaving more space for my desk, the bed and a chair to read scrapping magazines in!

I found the hanger thingy below at the reject shop and thought it was perfect to store all the kits I’ve made up from
all the matching supplies I have – rather than storing all the papers, stickers, etc separately, I put everything that matches in a ziplock bag so I can just grab it and start work – good theory anyway!

Shelves from bunnings – they were a bit of a pain to install (bad instructions!) but I’m so happy with them!

  1. wow I love your idea of zip locking papers, sticker sheets etc that are from the same collection. I can’t believe I never thought of that lol. Thanks Clare I’ll be using this idea!
