I’m still going on my retreat layouts… it was a VERY BUSY weekend! And there’s still more to come but I’ll keep posting in small doses to cover up the fact that I’ll probably have nothing to post for a while…
Materials: Kaisercraft Base Coat and Pickled Pear papers and elements, Craft Queen roses and ribbons
This layout was pretty much built around the quote – I was looking at my pack of leftover Pickled Pear bits and pieces and the quote really stood out for me. The picked pear had a wood fence type background on half of the sheet, so I used some Base Coat to continue that patter all the way across and then just build up on top of that – it’s such gorgeous paper you really don’t need to do a lot!
Materials: KaiserCraft Sweet Pea papers and elements
Indiana has one paw that’s got spots of black and white and brown on it – I call it her “Speckledy Paw” – and I’ve had this photo sitting on my pile of things to scrap for ages. And when I got to the retreat and realised this was the only photo of Indy I had, that settled it. The Sweet Pea papers are really cute and fun to work with – the background sheet is so perfect as it is, I really just left it alone and built up in the bottom corner using the elements and some strips of paper.
Materials: Teresa Collins He Said She Said, K & Company letters, KaiserCraft sparklets and cardstock
Another nice and simple layout – Teresa Collins papers are so easy to work with, the layouts pretty much put themselves together!
