Love (and) cats

Despite my absence from this blog, I have actually done a bit of scrapping! I was lucky enough to be able to spend a few days at home with my Mum a few weeks ago and that’s always inspiring!

Unfortunately, the weather here isn’t playing nice with my enthusiasm to update this with all my new layouts today, it’s really overcast and the light’s terrible – I took a bunch of photos but they’re all dark, so I’ll try again in a few days (it’s meant to be SPRING! Why all the wind and rain? Over it!).

Materials: KaiserCraft Take Note papers, stickers, foam tape, Bazill

I went to a crop a few weeks ago DETERMINED not to buy ANYTHING but I couldn’t help myself when I saw this paper, it’s so cute! I have to be honest, I’m a little frustrated that Kaiser’s paper is not a bit thicker – the designs are gorgeous, but when you switch to other papers like the Graphic 45 ones that are so thick and lovely to use, it’s a bit annoying. But, aside from that,  love it, love it, love it! A nice selfie of Aaron and myself a few weeks ago celebrating a big night out in the city – nice to treat yourself occasionally!

Sweet Little Boy

Materials: Teresa Collins Memories papers, stickers and chipboard, KaiserCraft pearl strips, doily from the supermarket, Bazzill

I really love this range of Teresa Collins paper (okay, I really love MOST of Teresa Collins’ ranges :)) and the colours really seemed to suit this sweet photo of Barnaby (betraying his inner-evil!). I didn’t do anything too fancy here, but I do like the effect of layering the chipboard banner elements to give the layout a bit of depth.

  1. I have heaps and heaps of albums! I’d like to put some in frames, but we need some more wall space before I can do that 🙂
