Beautiful Bella

Another new year begins and already it’s flying past! I was lucky enough to go to a retreat a few weekends ago with Mum and got stuck into a ton of scrapping – I think I’ve finally almost finished my photos from our big Europe trip from 2014 – I may even be finished before the second year anniversary of the trip… well, don’t get your hopes up!

The retreat was at a beautiful property in Daylesford and it was impossible not to be inspired, waking up to mornings like this –

We’re already booked in for next year!

Materials: Graphic45 Rare Oddity paper and stickers, Bazzill, Thickers, Green Tara paper string

It’s very unusual for me to do a layout with angles, but then Bella is a very unusual dog! I love the colours in this Graphic45 range a lot, so despite not being a big Halloween person (although it seems to be getting to be a bigger deal in Australia every year) I had to buy it. The title too seems to just sum Bella up, so  it wasn’t a hard choice to do a layout with her using this paper, being that she seems to be basically made up of spare parts (corgi snout, kelpie height, etc).

She was so happy hanging out inside on the couch at Christmas, I had to get my camera out – she’s such a poser!

(And, yes, I know that the title of this post means “beautiful beautiful” 🙂 )
